Our Imam

Sheikh Dr. Morsy Salem is currently the founder and president of Tijan Islamic Society and co-founder and vice-president of the Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs in North America. As of January 2022, Dr. Salem is the Imam and Religious Director of the Mansfield Islamic Center. Receiving his bachelor’s degree from the School of Legislation and Law in 1994 and master’s degree from the School of Legislation and Law, Department of Comparative Jurisprudence, in 2012, Dr. Morsy Salem received his Ph.D. with distinct honors from Mishkah Islamic University in late 2020.
